Scoring system

In the 2022 PHILPA Championship there is separate scoring for Drivers and Co-drivers in both the REGULARITY and TOURING categories. In each event, the top 10 crews in the overall standings in both categories are scored. The overall classification scores are :

  • 1st = 15 points

  • 2nd = 12 points

  • 3rd = 10 points

  • 4th = 8 points

  • 5th = 6 points

  • 6th = 5 points

  • 7th = 4 points

  • 8th = 3 points

  • 9th = 2 points

  • 10th = 1 point


An additional bonus of 15 points will be awarded to those who participate in all Championship events.

The driver and co-driver with the highest point total is declared champion. In the Championship, trophies shall be awarded to the top six (6) Drivers and Co-Drivers in the General Classification in the REGULARITY and TOURING categories.

In multi-day Events, as far as the Championship is concerned, there is a separate scoring per day.

In case of a tie at the end of the Championship, between two or more competitors, their best rankings will be calculated based on:

  • the 1st place in the general classification shall be awarded 9 points

  • 2nd place in the general classification shall be awarded 6 points

  • 3rd place in the general classification shall be awarded 4 points

  • 4th place in the general classification is awarded 3 points

  • 5th place in the general classification shall be awarded 2 points

  • 6th place in the general classification shall be awarded 1 point
